I’ve always been a writer. I find that when I write new ideas down I remember them better. Writing on a computer connects me right to my thoughts and they come faster than writing by pen. When I’m editing I can do it on the computer but as I near the end of my story I like to print the manuscript out. It helps to give me an idea what the whole document will look like and finding errors and ideas that are missing is easier.
When our children were toddlers and early years students I would write picture books to celebrate their talents. As an educator writing documents important information about students I am supporting and a great way to communicate with parents and other educators.
After publishing educational support books on Building Relationships it’s given me a direction and goal for my writing. I’m presently writing a middle years novel.
